About Us

So who are we? We're Project GForce, a team of four senior students who want to help people learn more about a service that millions and millions of people use daily. What we are trying to accomplish is to create a site that is easy to navigate, simple and to the point, and most importantly easy-to-read and understand. There are just too many websites out there that are hard to navigate, cluttered-looking with information all over, and with content that you can't understand. Now, with this in mind we thought about how we could create a site that is simple and to the point yet is jam-packed with understandable, easy-to-read information. Well, since we're doing a site on Google we decided the first place we should look for ideas is Google.com and so we did. Within seconds of looking at the site it hit us. If you look at Google.com a site that is considered by many an invaluable resource of information - it's a very simple layout. Just a logo with a search box and some links. What more do you really need? With this new inspiration we got to work using the Google colors and CSS (cascading style sheets) we created a navigation bar.

The site is split up into five main sections: Search Features, Google Services, History, Business, and Future Plans. In order to decide what we wanted to inform people about we discussed many topics and finally came down to the five above. Why those particular five? Well, they are the most aspects of Google as well covering all the basics that people should know about a service that they use several times a day.
