About Us

Monarch Butterflies are poor innocent creatures that are being destroyed at this very moment. Global Warming is partially the cause of the destruction of these beautiful creatures.

How did this horrible incident start?

When did it start, and what can we do to help?

The Monarch Butterfly, a gorgeous animal of the wild, has been affected by Global Warming. Global Warming has already started to affect the lives of 45% of the Monarch Butterfly population. Global Warming is increasing the Earth's temperature. The Earth's temperature has been changing from hot to cold. Since the Industrial Revolution the Earth has been getting warmer . The average temperature has gone up 1º F for the past 100 years. If the Earth's temperature raises more than 1ºF over the next few years, the effects will be catastrophic. The Earth will flood and the wildlife, plants, and humans will be gone. Vietnamese Monarch Butterflies are not affected by Global Warming because they don't migrate. But the North American Monarchs are affected by Global Warming because they migrate. Global Warming affects these butterflies because of the change in temperature. Since the temperature is changing all the time their migration patterns are changing. That is not very good.

What could we do to help prevent the rest of the population from suffering the same faith as their relatives?

People today can really do a lot to help these poor, helpless creatures. We can create foundations to keep these butterflies alive or we could start a fund raiser. We can also donate money to create a safe environment, for the butterflies. Greenhouses around the world are trying to control global warming. Global warming is going to affect butterflies tremendously but we could also help make it a little better for creatures especially Monarch Butterflies.
