The Excretory System's job is to take the waste products out of your body
and to also make sure the right amounts of water, salts, and nutrients are always
in your body. If your
body does not get rid of the waste, then you could get very
sick and maybe even die. The parts of this system in vertebrates include the kidneys,
liver, lungs, and the skin's sweat glands.
..The skin excretes or lets out water and salt from the body when you sweat.
One of the main jobs of the kidneys is to filter the waste out of the blood. The
kidneys, the bladder, and their tubes are called the urinary system and are all part
of the excretory system. This is what each part does: the kidneys take the waste
out of the blood and makes urine; the urethra is a tube that carries the urine out of
the body; the ureters are tubes that carry the urine to the bladder and the bladder
is a bag that collects the urine. After digestion is completed, feces are eliminated
from the lowest part of the large intestine, called the rectum.

....The Excretory System is a very important body system which helps us stay healthy.
