Bee Stings

Bee stings make you want to scratch the sting. When a bee stings its intestines will go in your skin. The intestines rub together digging into your skin. If the stinger is still attached gently remove it with your nail or a knife. Have an adult remove it when using a knife. Do not squeeze the stinger because then it will just release more venom into your skin. Apply a cold compress to relieve pain and swelling. Do not apply ice directly. If the person cannot breathe or is allergic to bees then take them to the hospital immediately. If an allergic reaction happens after the sting, take to the doctor. Signs of an allergic reaction include:
Burning and itching of the bite.
Itching the palms of hands and soles of feet.
Itching on the neck.
Swelling of the area around the bite.
