Years ago, toy stores could be found everywhere.  But in the year 2008, the United States government and other governments around the world ordered all toy stores to be shut down because many toys were found to be unsafe. Boys and girls cried out that it wasn't fair, since not all toys were dangerous.  Their cries fell on deaf ears!  There would be no dolls, no action figures, no video games, and no place to buy Nintendo, PlayStations, or Wiis!  Oh, the misery!

Many years have passed since then, and children nowadays only know about toy stores from reading about them in their history books. How they long for those magical places to come back into their lives!  You, too, long for those good, old days, so you attend Toyland University and become a world-famous toyologist.  You decide it is time to take action.  You write to the President of the United States on behalf of every kid in the world.  The President says he will ask Congress to pass a law that allows toy stores to open, but only if you can find enough safe toys to be placed back on the toy shelves.  You accept the mission.

You embark on an expedition into the ruins of an ancient toyshop. This particular toyshop was owned and operated by toy giant, Ma Tell, whose main goal was to make children smile and jump up and down with glee when they entered her wonderful world of toys.  She didn't mean to sell unsafe toys, but when she allowed her toys to be made in China, she lost all control over the quality of the toys she sold. Those who knew her well said she died of a broken heart.

Legend has it that Ma Tell left behind a collection of safe toys hidden in a secret vault somewhere in her toyshop.  You intend to find that collection, so Congress will allow toy stores to flourish and, once again, allow toys to be manufactured for the poor, toyless children of the world.

You travel to your destination. With a little prodding and pushing, the door gives way.  You enter the toyshop and start roaming about. The toyshop has been deserted for years and is in very bad shape. You are glad you brought your flashlight. After only a few minutes, you discover an underground passage.  As you walk through the passageway, you notice some writing on the walls.  After reading the words, there is only one conclusion to draw. Ma Tell did stash way some safe toys, and she wants you to find them. You are directed to her journal. The very first page instructs you how to find the vault. All you have to do is read each journal entry and answer some questions.  If you answer the questions successfully, a panel in the wall will open, and you will be closer to the secret vault with its magnificent toys!

Good luck! News of your expedition has been reported in all the papers around the world.  Kids all over the globe are rooting for you. Will your mission be possible?  Only time will tell!
