(NOTE: TO PLAY THIS GAME, DO NOT USE THE BUTTONS ON THE SIDE, How would you like to put your brain to the test? A new and exciting game show has come to the Internet and is playing right now on your favorite TQ website. “The Last Editor Standing” is the name of the game, and its objective is to select the fittest of the fit from a group of ten editors. Now this head-to-head competition is about to begin in front of a live studio audience. As part of the audience, you will be presented with some information and then a quiz. If you answer the questions correctly, you will be sent to a news story that was published in real newspapers and magazines. All the editors believed that the stories they published were accurate. But they were wrong! Some of the stories were just plain fibs or hoaxes. A hoax is something that is made to trick or bamboozle people. It is a plan that is meant to deceive someone into believing that something false is true. Your challenge is to find the only editor that published a true story and crown him or her "Last Editor Standing". Use your “noggin” and the clues given to discover which editor was not fooled. Once again, it is important to navigate through all the pages in order, so you will be able to eliminate one contestant at a time. Be prepared to learn all about the power of the press and all about journalistic hoaxes. This is not a guessing game, so pay close attention to the clues. Good luck!
