We invite ALL participants to join us at the Awards Event on Tuesday, June 9th at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center @ BMCC. Students can sign up to exhibit their work. Finalists will be announced and receive prizes.

NBC Universal Digital Media Competition Submission Checklist
Submission Deadline is April 23rd!!!

There are two parts to submitting videos to the DMC. First, is uploading to Vimeo and emailing us the URL. Second is sending us all of the information listed below by post.

Mail the following items to TQNYC:

1. Complete consent forms for each team member AND any actor/actress that appeared in the film.
You can download consent forms here.

2. List of permissions for any copy-written work including music, images and video.

3. A disk with your video on it.
(We will not be judging from this disk, it is for archiving purposes.)

Start working on a 20 second clip of your video that we can play at the Awards Event on June 9th. We will contact Finalists with instructions for delivering the clip.

Attention Digital Media Competition Teams!

As the deadline approaches and you are finishing your projects, remember that you will need to upload your movie to Vimeo.

In order to help with that we have 3 new tutorials covering how to save your project to a movie in the best format for Vimeo uploading.

• Saving for Vimeo
  Gives general information as well as settings that may apply to a variety of video editors.
• Windows Movie Maker and Vimeo
  Gives specific instructions on how to save your movie when using Windows Movie Maker.
• iMovie and Vimeo
  Gives specific instructions on how to save your movie when using iMovie.

We have extended the NBC Universal Digital Media Competition deadline to APRIL 23rd.

That’s right… APRIL 23rd.

Next week, all Digital Media coaches will receive an email with specific instructions for submitting projects.

In the meantime… make sure your entries are under 5 minutes and that they are inspirational and spectacular!

NBC Universal Digital Media Competition Deadline is Two Weeks Away!

We’re very excited for another year of great entries. Check out last year’s entries for inspiration. Also, keep an eye out for some very special awards that we’ll be announcing soon.

Before you can set your eye on the prize(s), you must register your teams by Thursday, January 29th. Registration is simple and will guarantee your participation in this innovative competition.
