Uploading to Vimeo - New Tutorials

Attention Digital Media Competition Teams!

As the deadline approaches and you are finishing your projects, remember that you will need to upload your movie to Vimeo.

In order to help with that we have 3 new tutorials covering how to save your project to a movie in the best format for Vimeo uploading.

  • Saving for Vimeo
    Gives general information as well as settings that may apply to a variety of video editors.
  • Windows Movie Maker and Vimeo
    Gives specific instructions on how to save your movie when using Windows Movie Maker.
  • iMovie and Vimeo
    Gives specific instructions on how to save your movie when using iMovie.

TQNYC Internet Challenge Registration Tutorial

Hello!

We’ve put together this tutorial and information sheet about Registering Teams for the TQNYC Internet Challenge. We have been learning this new (and confusing) system ourselves and are doing our best to clarify the steps to make your lives a little bit easier… so you can focus on the project!

THE NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS

1. Educators must first ENROLL to be a coach at: http://nyc.thinkquest.org/

2. Principals will receive an email with instructions to approve teacher as a TQNYC coach.

3. Once approved by principal, teacher will receive email with Log In information.

4. Coaches can Log In and Register their teams.

5. Coaches will have their own Log In information for easy management of teams. Each team will have their own Log In information.

6. Log-in can ONLY be done from the Local Competitions page.
